Update from the BCE Food Drive: A tremendous thank you to the BCE PTO, BCE Families, and Lakeside Covenant Church! In just a few days, over 500 lbs. of food and personal hygiene products were collected and donated.

Housing Support and Shelter Resources Beacon - Families moving Forward
Provides temporary shelter in local churches; families move to a different church weekly
South- west location, takes 4 families at a time
Carver County Community Development Agency
Offers support and resources to find affordable housing. Manages the family and adult coordinated entry point for the homeless. Assists with affordable housing units in Carver County. Offers budgeting education, foreclosure assistance and first time home buyer classes

Short term, safe care for children whose parents are experiencing a crisis. Coordinated by CAP agency.

Offers support to adults,18-25 living in Carver and Scott counties, who are homeless and do not have minor children. Offers ongoing support, mentoring, food pantry and other resources for those aged 18-29

Financial Assistance Programs
Carver County residents can apply for services (food assistance, general assistance, etc) by calling Carver County Health and Human Services at 952-361-1600 and request to speak with Finical Assistance Intake, they will mail out an application. You can visit the Health and Human in person

Unemployment Benefits: Unemployment benefits have been expanded due to the virus outbreak
