When: All Year
Art Adventure is an education enhancing program for our First and Second graders. Working with the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, our students delve into art and learn about other cultures. Students learn about each piece of art within the learning set from “Picture Parents” who visit their classrooms. “Picture Parents” are asked to attend a short training session and then are given lesson plans for instructing the students. The lessons culminate with a trip to the museum in the spring. Art Adventure programming works in cooperation with homeroom teacher learning plans.
